The Vu GloLED TV panel is manufactured by depositing inorganic nanoscale materials (Glo material) on a 4K LED panel using an advanced robotic manufacturing process. This Vu GloLED TV material dramatically enriches the colour reproduction almost to the level of an OLED panel. Colour richness is measured using the NTSC standard. Normal 4K TVs have a colour gamut of 72%, while OLED has a colour gamut of 100%. The Vu GloLED TV panel has a colour gamut of 94 %, very close to that of an OLED. Best budget tv with wide range of features
– Very good upscaling processor. 1080p content upscaling is great and 720p upscaling is good too.- You will never feel like the volume isn’t adequate, there is good amount of loudness & bass- Great tv in a medium or big room with lots of light- Feature rich like HDR, HDR 10+, Dolby vision, so you’re not compromising on the viewing experience- Sports viewing is also good- Best experience is when you directly play 4K OTT content or 4K content from pendrive

Excellent Product
Good viewing anglesGood audio quality…UI performance should have been improved but its not laggy.Audio quality is really good but the problem is the voice or speech is not clearly audible but the theater effect is really good.Coming to the display i am really happy for this purchase evenso i paid a full amount without any discounts. Because that much bright and clear display with punchy colors it produced.I am not sure about the long term experience need to wait for more than 2 to 3 years to check the defects but as a short term review i have not faced any issues..Also please remember to buy extended warranty from official VU site as a precaution because my old Nokia Smart TV display is gone within 3 years of purchase.55inch display is beautiful colorfull and great view angles go for it if anyone is looking for good 4k tv under medium budget

Review after 22 days of using vu gloled 55 inch
I am writing this review after 22 days of usage.I stay in Bangalore, hence, received the product the next day along with installation.The wall mount is free but it is just fixable. I purchased 6 ways movable wall mount from the amazon guy. It costed me around rs1700. I did not bargain on that as I was excited. In online you will get it for around 1300 to 1500.The amazon guy said that the standard distance from ground to mount the TV on wall is around 3.5 feet. As I had a 32 inch tv before, I asked him to mount little above. He did it. But by night, my neck started paining as it is a 55 inch tv.I rang him the next day, directly and asked for reinstallation. He came again and mounted it to 3.5 feet from ground. now viewing experience is superior. I paid rs200.The TV is awesome, got connected to the wifi(dual band) immediately.As mentioned, it does play contents in 4k, 8k, 12 k and also 16 k.It has dolby vision, HDR +. The moment you open amazon prime and play a content, ex’s Power of rings, by default it selects dolby vision.The moment you open zee5 and play any tamil hd movie, by default it selects hdr + mode.We have options to change picture modes like standard, dynamic, cinema, cricket and many more.The dynamic mode makes the screen little black. The standard more is too too appealing and is bright(it is probably the gloled mode). It might be ahving around 400+nits. You cannot keep this mode on for more than 3 hours. Head starts paining. So the suitable mode is Cinema ModeWe have options to change sound modes like standard, theatre, cinema, music, cricket and many more. Under this – there is an option for dolby atmos.The best claririty comes when music mode is on with dolby atmos on. And yes, the voulme of the TV is too too loud. It also produces subwoofer sound.There is an option under the tv named as Remote Finder – I haven’t used this feature.As I have upgraded from a 32 inch HD ready onida tv, I do not understand any screen bleeding issues. I do not find any problem in this TV, picture quality is just tremendous, except the software lags by 1-1.5 second, only when it is connected to internet.This tv is huge and its cover is extra huge. I had seen multiple reviews where the tv had screen issues. Probably they are genuine and for some who has already experience with sony and samsung tv’s on 55 inch +, they might notice the screen bleeding, if Vu has it.I am a lucky customer who happened to receive a perfect product with no issues. Even if there would be little scrren bleeding, I cannot notice it as I had a small tv before this. But for sure, it can challenge tvs likes sony/ samsung and so on with huge features in a this price.It also has an erc port for dolby atmos sound system and for gaming also. There is no power fluctuation in my area in bangalore, so have’nt purchsed a stabilizer yet. Need to get it though.PS: one more thing- At night around 1am, I turned on aaj tak news channel in youtube and played in standard mode just to see the clarity. I stood adjacent to the tv and turned off all the lights of the drawing room. The room was so bright as if 2 led bulbs of 7 watts are turned ON on either side of the walls. Definitely standard mode will cause headache.

Product is very good. Though had very bad experience with installation.
Picture and sound quality is very good and after started using the product, I was satisfied with the choice, as I had almost ordered another branded product with higher cost. However, wanted to highlight that it was a big nuisance and trouble for the installation. I almost wasted my 2 entire day waiting for a technician who was expected as per the time slot alloted by Amazon, but he never turned up. Then finally I had to install the TV at my own cost. Donât trust them anymore for services related to free installation.
