Excellent AC, But Beware of Copper Pipe Limitations
Rating: ââââ (4/5)Review:I recently purchased the Tata Voltas AC from Amazon, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. The cooling capabilities are impressive, and it has made the scorching summer days bearable.The AC installation process, however, came with a minor hiccup. Amazon only provided a 3-feet copper pipe, which proved to be insufficient for my setup. Consequently, I had to purchase an external copper pipe, which incurred additional costs and a slight delay in the installation process. For those facing a similar situation, be prepared to shell out around 1k to 1.5k depending on your city for the extra copper pipe.Once the AC was up and running, it performed admirably. Even with daily usage of 10 to 12 hours at temperatures ranging from 22 to 24 degrees, my electricity bill increased by only around 3k for a period of two months. I find this energy efficiency quite commendable.The AC’s cooling capacity is more than sufficient to cool a medium-sized room quickly. The noise level is relatively low, allowing for a peaceful environment during operation. The various modes and settings are user-friendly and easy to navigate, catering to different preferences and needs.The build quality of the Tata Voltas AC appears robust, and the remote control provided is functional and convenient. It’s worth mentioning that the AC’s aesthetics blend well with the room’s decor, adding to its appeal.Despite the hiccup with the copper pipe, I can confidently recommend the Tata Voltas AC to potential buyers. It provides excellent cooling performance while maintaining energy efficiency, resulting in a comfortable and cost-effective solution for battling the summer heat. Just be prepared for the possibility of acquiring an external copper pipe during installation to ensure a smooth setup process.

From the moment of purchase to the ongoing service, Voltas has proved to be a company that fails to meet even the most basic expectations. Allow me to elaborate on my experience, highlighting the various aspects that contributed to this abysmal encounter.Firstly, the product itself is far from satisfactory. The Voltas AC I purchased exhibited numerous issues right from the start. The cooling efficiency was extremely poor, and despite adjusting the temperature settings, it failed to create a comfortable indoor environment. The airflow was weak, making it ineffective in larger rooms. Additionally, the AC emitted a strange, unpleasant odor whenever it was running, indicating a potential problem with the unit’s cleanliness or ventilation system. These issues not only hindered the AC’s performance but also led to significant discomfort and inconvenience for me and my family.When it comes to customer service, Voltas proved to be utterly disappointing. Upon reporting the problems with the AC, I was met with a lengthy and frustrating process just to schedule a service appointment. Despite the AC being well within the warranty period, the company refused to take responsibility for the faulty product and insisted on charging exorbitant fees for repairs. This blatant disregard for their own warranty terms left me feeling cheated and betrayed as a customer.In conclusion, my experience with Voltas AC has been an absolute nightmare. The product failed to deliver on its basic functionality, and the company’s customer service was unresponsive, unprofessional, and unhelpful. The lack of accountability and willingness to address the issues adequately showcases a severe lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. I strongly advise potential buyers to steer clear of Voltas AC units, as they offer nothing but a frustrating and regrettable
