I wanted to buy apple watch but stepped back because of the horrible battery backup. Why would you buy a smart watch if it cannot function beyond 1 year
I purchased this Fitbit Sense 2 in October 2022. But soon after a year in Dec 2023, the watch stopped functioning. It does not charge and does not turn on. All basic troubleshooting done. Then i reachedout to support and asked if we can take it to any service center to fix. They said no physical service centers in India. They collected my details and said they will email me back, which they did promptly within a day but mentioned – “Thanks for providing additional information. Unfortunately, your product doesnât meet the replacement requirements of our warranty policy.”Now, Why would someone spend a good amount to buy a smartwatch just to know that it could stop working after a year. I am being honest, the watch was not prone to any physical damage. A normal daily use and it stops working after a year and we don’t have the option to fix it or do any basic service center to open and check whats wrong. This is the pathetic part and not convincing to me. I was using Fitbit products(fitbit charge) since 2012, but for the first time very disappointed choosing to buy a smartwatch that is now a piece of junk. Hope i find a place to recycle the electronic waste that i hold.

 I used a Fitbit sense before, and have now upgraded to Fitbit sense 2. my reason for selecting this watch is that it continuously monitors my stress levels. Iâve been asked to keep a check on my stress levels and this watch is doing that beautifully.It tracks my exercises, my heart rate, My sleep patterns and everything that a watch meant for exercise does.So many have been ditching this watch saying it doesnât have 3rd party apps, no Google assistant, no music. Honestly why do you need all that in a watch. We are always connected with all that in the phone! Itâs not like you will take the watch but not carry the phone?So why make such a big deal of a watch that functions like a watch and much much more!Iâm in love with this watch and what it does for me. It signals me whenever it senses a change in my bodyâs reaction and asks me to log my mood. Then helps me to relax by suggesting breathing or an eda scan. Frankly,thatâs all that I need.Reminds me to be active, measures my steps. Reminds me to wind down for bed. Gives amazing insight into sleep patterns. And so many more things, makes me so so happy,I wear it 24hrs!To all those wanting this watch to be a phone and much more, Iâll say- let a watch be a watch!It’s got much better battery life, i charge it once a week, and I wear this watch continuously 24hrs.Hereâs my update:Itâs been 1.7 yrs since using this watch. Not a problem till date.ECG works seamlessly.Battery life: recharge once in a week.Compatibility: I use an iPhone.Sleep tracking: wear it to bed and youâll see very accurate readings.Exercise tracking: like every high end smartwatch, exactly the same.Stress levels indicator: still functions seamlessly.Third party apps: still noLooking at Apple Watch, pixel watch , one plus watch – this is still the best.

I had a fit bit Versa 2 that stopped working suddenly and I replaced it with Sense 2. So far this has been a great watch/ fitness tracker for my needs.

A nice Smart Watch and fitness tracker. Very long battery life, thanks in part to not having on board wi fi. The Sense 2 connects to and syncs with your phone via Bluetooth. This watch replaced a Fitbit Versa 2, whose screen went faulty after 3 years of use. The Sense 2 has a lot more facilities including the ability to do an ECG measurement and interpret the result. However, this requires access to the metallised edge of the screen, so plastic âbufferâ type screen protectors will need to be removed to allow for a measurement.

I had fitbit versa 2 for years before switching to this model. The battery lasts almost 6 days if you disable the notifications and only use it as a fitness tracker. Significantly more diverse fitness tracking options compared to versa 2. Inbuilt GPS makes tracking runs more accurate. Great for people looking to live a more active lifestyle whether itâs walking more or maximising your gym time.

Esthetically good looking and well made product. Like its sleep monitoring function in addition to the usual functions of a tracker. Long battery life another plus point. Only need charging after 5 to 6 days on normal usage.
