    Ah…well…Very good after updating
I got the product on Friday, 7th Aug. Smart features and picture quality are good and remote is one aspect where it has scored all the browny points. Simple, elegant and looks too good. Picture clarity of SD channels is as it is supposed to be, but HD channels are very good so is streaming using any OTT or YouTube. Observed screen bleeding in more than a couple of places. But what irritates is the sound. The system just does not have any control at all. Sometimes the volume just shoots up, sometimes it just does not come at all, sometime it comes normally. Terrible to say the least when it comes to sound. Also, no Dolby or DTS encoding I think. There is no soothing experience one would get from these speakers, it is like good old mike system sound. Raised the issue with Amazon and let me see what they come up with.Edit: 11Aug: Technician visited home and said issue with sound and got call from Amazon. The Amazon call was for refund for the TV as there was no stock. Arranged for pickup for 11th Aug. Got call from Kodak regarding the same and the guy asked me to install/update the TV through a link which I copied to USB and did. And ola, the sound issue is resolved. Now working perfectly fine and cancelled the return pickup. Now added one more star as overall the product is very good with multiple options to connect.

    Must Buy TV!!!
We bought this TV on 7th August and was delivered on 10th August (Awesome Amazon service as always). The TV was installed on 13th August thanks to repeated follow up with Call Centre. We had decided to buy Hisense 43″ 4K UHD TV but it got sold out. We scanned the available TVs and found Kodak to be the best for the purchase of ₹24,500/-. We were lucky to get a 50″ 4K UHD TV at the same price of a Hisense 4K UHD TV.Pros:1. Excellent picture quality 4.5/52. Excellent sound 4.5/53. Excellent connectivity viz. Chromecast 4.8/54. Easy to use remote 4.8/55. Good quality wall mounts 4.8/56. Excellent Value for Money 5/57. Made in India product 5/5Cons:1. No Netflix…. However it’s not missed since you have other entertainment apps2. Call centre connectivity needs improvementWorth buying!!!

Good video | No Netflix | Issues with Sound | Requires adapter to connect Fire Stick
Pros:1. Good video quality for the price.2. Remote is handy and looks similar to that of Fire Stick. Has a good range and easy to use.3. Looks good.Cons:1. Fluctuating Sound | Also, no options to customize sound from settings.2. No Netflix3. Can’t connect Fire Stick without an adapter since the HDMI ports are placed at the back and the elevation makes it really difficult to connect Fire Stick directly in to the TV.4. Engineer said there are options to change brightness and customize colours however, I didn’t find an option to do that. This might be a miss on my side however, I went in to every possible option but couldn’t find an option to customize display settings.5. Android 9 as well as Apps were updated but it didn’t fix the sound problem. However, someone mentioned in their review that Kodak helped him install an update to fix it and it worked. I did get a call from Kodak and they said that they will call me back with a solution but they never called back. So, I have concerns with warranty concerns with that attitude.6. Did notice LED bleed when the screen in black and I generally consider that as a concern. It is not noticeable when I watched videos however, I wouldn’t want to take a chance on a panel issue.7. Those who plan to wall mount the TV, might have challenges to access the connection ports since everything is placed at the back of the TV.8. The Speaker is loud but Quality is bad for my taste. However, it is subjective. I used it with my 5.1 ch Home Theatre System and it was fine until the Sound fluctuations started. If you’re going to use it without a Home Theatre or Soundbar, don’t expect good cinematic or music experience. Conclusion: Returning the TV to Amazon for a full refund.Suggestion: If you don’t have issues with your panel and Kodak helps to fix the fluctuating sound issue, you may consider buying it. The video is really good for the price. As for me, Fire Stick compatibility (needs an adapter), Absence of Netflix and Panel issues are the major concerns and therefore, I decided to return it. Hope this helps. Thanks!
